Access the NDIS

We intend to offer core supports to participants aged 7 and above by hiring experienced support workers and implementing procedures while keeping in mind NDIS practice standards to deliver care.

What is the NDIS?

The NDIS will provide all Australians under the age of 65 who have a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to enjoy an ordinary life.

The NDIS will help people with a disability achieve their goals. This may include greater independence, community involvement, employment and improved wellbeing.

Access the NDIS

People who meet the NDIS access requirements are called participants. Participants receive funded supports and an individual plan. If you are a person with disability and want to join the NDIS, you need to meet the access requirements.

These include:

  • Availability of the Scheme where you live;
  • your age;
  • your residency status;
  • your disability and in some cases your early intervention requirements.
